The most beautiful golf course in the North?

The first part of the Castle course was opened in 1983. Like few other courses, it is in perfect harmony with its environment. The area is particularly well-suited for a golf course and the architect, Jan Sederholm, planned the course so that it merges superbly into the surrounding countryside. The Castle course is often considered one of the most beautiful courses in the North!

Most of the Castle course (Slottsbanan) holes have a magnificent view of the Slottssundet bay, across which you can see Åland´s only castle, Kastelholm. In the 16th century, King Eric XIV of Sweden was imprisoned in a tower room of this castle.

When playing golf on the Castle course you can always feel the presence of the sea. You are close to nature! The experience varies from season to season.
