This will take you straight into the Viking world. When you visit the Viking market in Kvarnbo on 25-27 July, you meet bearded Vikings, serfs in rags and women with jewelry and beautiful costumes.

An exciting Viking adventure for the whole family! The Viking Market is held in the village of Kvarnbo in Saltvik. The Viking Market has gained huge popularity and with its 8000-9000 annual visitors it is considered one of the major Viking markets in Scandinavia.

Here you can meet bearded Viking warriors and beautifully dressed Viking women from Swedish, Finnish, English, German and Polish Viking associations. Songs and music are interrupted by thrilling weapon games and battle training. 


The market is visited by Viking craftsmen, such as tanners and smiths who manufacture beautiful utilities and pieces of art according to old methods, and naturally by agreat amount of market sellers who tempt with genuine Viking-inspired crafts, textiles, home-baked bread, iron forgery and leather works.

The ultimate experience is completed with the Vikinginspired food with many meal alternatives to choose from.
