Welcome to Gästgård Christiansund on the sunny side of Åland.

Gästgård Christiansund is beautifully situated by a bay with our own beach. The surroundings are lush and the garden has large green space. Christiansund consists of three separate buildings:

The Guesthouse (bed & breakfast)
The Guesthouse date back from early 1900 and has five 1-3 person rooms, most with sea-view. Bathroom- and shower-facilities are located in the hallway; there is also a sitting lounge. On the ground floor there is a breakfast room for 18 persons.

Annex 1
Annex 1, built 1999, has three 2-3 person rooms for self-catering with kitchen, bathroom with shower. Each room has terraces with sea-view.

Annex 2
Annex 2, built 1997, and consists of six 4-person rooms for self-catering with kitchen, bathroom with shower. Each room has terraces with sea-view.

All our rooms are non-smoking and we do not accept any pets.

Bed linen is available for rent and final cleaning can be purchased. Breakfast can be ordered during high-season.  

At our place you can take a sauna in our traditional Finnish sauna, go for a tour in a rowing-boat or just enjoy, or try to lure the fish. By the beach we have our own fishing boat (with trolling-facility) for longer fishing tours.

If you are interested in the sights, Eckerö church is located quite close by. We would also like to mention the post-house and post-museum and the hunting-and fishing-museum in Storby. A stone-throw from the guesthouse there is a newly restored stone bridge dating from the days of the post-road.

For recreation, you will find Eckerö golf course a bit further down the road (1,5km), where you also find a restaurant. The closest grocery store and bank is located in Storby (1,5km).
