Baltichallen
Baltichallen is a sports hall, beautifully situated in the nature of southern Mariehamn, in close proximity to ferries, accommodations and food services. The sports hall was built in 1998 and has become a natural centre for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Flexible space
The sports hall is mainly used for ball sports such as floor hockey, handball, basketball, volleyball, football (futsal) and boule, played on special mats.

The hall features large front doors and roof truss construction making it also suitable for conventions, conferences, concerts and other public events.

Facts
The total playing area of the sports hall is 42x42 meters with parallel floor hockey and handball courts. A central court is lined for these sports and can be used in combination with seats for 444 spectators. In the hall there is also a conference room, six dressing rooms and a cafeteria.

Training camps
The training summer camps in Baltichallen have grown over the years. For example, Finland's basketball association has had its weekly camp here every summer since the hall was built. Handball and floor hockey camps have also been arranged here in the summer.

Outdoor activities
In close proximity to the hall are two full-size grass football fields and a two kilometre long jogging trail with skiing tracks in the winter.
