Experience the wonderful Föglö archipelago
Experience Föglö's beautiful archipelago onboard the fishing boat CoJa in the company of a knowledgeable local guide. How about going on a seal safari or on a boat outing to the island Björkör? There are fine fishing spots with pike and perch for those interested in fishing. If you know how to lure trout, you can expect to get one or two of them as well.

Hunting
Liven up autumn with a hunting trip to the archipelago. The hunting season is from September to November.

Important information for hunting tourists:
A valid hunting license is required from the country where you reside.
Additionally you will need an Åland hunting license (35€/year) that must be applied for and ordered at least two weeks before your trip. You also need to have a valid license for the weapons you bring in for your hunting trip. Remember that hunters are responsible for their own weapons and the necessary documents needed for the hunting trip.

Excursions
Come along on an excursion to the old archipelago homestead at the island Björkör. We'll provide a guide that will show you the area and tell you about life in the distant past. An excursion to the fishing camp at Sältingskär is also an experience. Here you'll see how the archipelago villagers lived when they were out fishing for days at a time.



  

A seal safari is always fun, even if you have seen seals before. Sometimes the seals are so curious that they will appear just a few meters from the boat. The seal safari is very weather dependent and in bad weather it's good to have a second plan, like an archipelago dinner with sauna, outdoor barrel bath or maybe a swim in the sea. CoJa Fishing also takes you to neighboring islands such as Kökar or Sottunga where you may eat good food at a restaurant, visit points of interest or rent a bicycle. Naturally, you may also pick your own excursion destinations.

Bird watching
Föglö is a paradise for both expert and amateur bird watchers. Spring is an especially good time to watch the migratory birds and how nature comes alive after winter.

But summer and autumn are also of great interest - you never know what you may see. You may rent a boat or hire a local guide that will take you along to the best bird watching spots. Imagine seeing ten European sea eagles at the same time!

From May-June and August-November the chance to discover new species is greatest.
