The bicycle ferries

The bicycle ferries work as a continuation of the roads in Åland. The thought is that you can get out on peninsulas and dead end roads without having to backtrack.

If you follow the bicycle routes a ferry ride waits when you reach the shore. Enjoy the sea, the nature and a short rest before you continue your bicycle ride.

The bicycle ferries traffic according to timetables in June, July and august. The ferries are service boats that let you take your bicycle and bicycle trailer with you. Sorry, no motorcycles.
