Varied training in Mariehamn

Within walking distance from the centre is Acancia, a large and airy gym facility that opened in 2009 and which provides all the latest in training. A gym with strength training equipment and a free weights section as well as group training in power yoga, switching, flowin, boxercise, spinning, kettlebells, zumba and bodystep, etc.

In Mariehamn there is the Idrottsgården (sports park) with strength training areas for both exercise and elite training. They even have a bowling alley and a sports hall. Closed for the summer July - August.

At Träningsverket's newly built gym, a little way out of Mariehamn, you can train for both strength and fitness. The gym provides a strength centre with separate cardio section and different types of group training such as cycling, step-up, Shake-it!, bodycombat, core/stretch and much more. They also have a solarium and a masseur. Within Mariehamn you get to travel on the local bus for free. All three gyms have bus stops nearby.
