There is so much to see and experience in the Åland islands. Here enjoyers of life, families with children, conference guests, fishermen, adventurers and golfers enjoy life. No matter what time of year it is, Åland simply has a lot to offer when it comes to experiences and activities.

Additionally, Åland is easy to explore. The short distances encourage fun excursions and exciting explorations. All sights, golf courses, fishing spots and beaches are within reach. For more intense experiences of nature, we recommend cycling, paddling or long distance skating.

Åland year round
From May to September the selection of activities is the greatest. Now you can enjoy the great events of the summer, visit all museums and sights, enjoy the sun and bath or participate in excursions and other guided tours.

Åland is worth a visit also in low season. In autumn and winter the islands rest calmly. Enjoy the stillness and closeness to nature by hiking in the forests or long distance skating or skiing in cold winters.

You can also go fishing in Åland year round, but fishing in autumn is best, especially pike fishing. You can also explore the maritime town Mariehamn all year, eat well in fine restaurants, visit museums and go for excursions, have a conference or just enjoy swimming and pleasant spa experiences.
