Artistic course centre and boarding house
Nybonds is a small course centre and boarding house located in Tranvik, Sund. The course activities take place in an old sailor's homestead from the early 1800's. Nybonds offer accommodation in an artistic environment. The accommodations may be combined with different courses and activities. We welcome smaller groups and individuals too.

The buildings have been carefully renovated during the years while the front yard and the garden, which are part of Åland's cultural inventory, have been preserved in their original state. Nybonds received the environment prize for the year 1997, due to the preserved garden.

Accommodation
The boarding house has 3 rooms and a total of 10 beds.

The kitchen
The kitchen serves ecologically and locally produced products. The menu is inspired by Åland traditions, something that our guests have
appreciated during the years.

Nybonds offer you exciting courses during your stay: Ceramics, Baking, Plant dyeing, Wool work, Watercolour painting, Yoga, Alternative treatments.

Activities
Horseback riding at the neighbouring farm's Icelandic horses. Hikes,
Guiding around Åland according to your requests.

Booking
Nybonds is open year round. Courses are booked by previous agreement.
