Vivid descriptions of the almost 400 year old regular postal traffic!
An exhibition that describes the hard lives of the farmers that during nearly 500 years were involved with the transport of the mail from Sweden to Eckerö for further transport to Turku. In the museum there’s an old mail route boat on display and also other objects connected with the mail route across the Åland Sea.

Connected to the museum is also a film hall. The guide is very familiar with the topic and tells in a lively way about the regular mail traffic that pointed the development of Eckerö in a certain direction.
