Idrottsgården in Mariehamn

Idrottsgården is located in the centre of Mariehamn within walking distance from the ferry terminals, accommodations and food services.

The sports hall was fully renovated in 2002 and today it consists of a sports hall, gym, judo hall and a bowling alley.

The sports hall
The hall measures 18x32 meters and features a Tarkett Omnisport Elite floor, suitable for most ball sports such as badminton, volleyball, floor hockey, handball, table tennis and basketball.

Weight training
Our weight training facilities are equipped with modern equipment and are suitable for both professionals and amateurs. Åland weight lifters train in our facilities and have achieved international success.

Bowling
The bowling alley has eight laminated lanes of high quality with automatic scoring service. The alleys are used for exercise, competitions of high class and yearly tournaments. On Fridays we also arrange disco bowling.

The establishment also has two saunas, eight dressing rooms, a café and a meeting room.

Near Idrottshallen is Idrottsparken, Islandia and a jogging trail.

Monday-Friday 12pm-10pm Saturday-Sunday 10pm-6pm

Closed June 30th - August 10th, 2008.

The cash register closes one hour earlier than closing time.
