A guesthouse in a genuine environment with a sense of service!

The Kastelholm Gästhem is situated along the old mail Route in the municipality of Sund, just a short distance from the castle of Kastelholm.

The guesthouse is an excellent choice for golfers. All golfers want to hit longer and straighter and this is why we serve a nutritious breakfast before you tee up.

The guesthouse
The guesthouse has a total of 34 beds in nine double rooms and 1-3 beds per room. In the wing, all six rooms are equipped with showers and toilets. On the main building's second floor there are three rooms with a shared shower and toilet. The upper floor is suitable for groups of up to six persons.

There is a sitting room next to the bedrooms. The guesthouse is open May-October.

Lounge and breakfast
Our breakfast buffet is popular and consists of varied foods. Special requests such as times for breakfast can be directed to the hostess upon arrival. In the lounge there is a refrigerator and kitchen utensils where you can store and prepare your own lunch or dinner.

Our cottages****
In the area there are two cottages with two double rooms in each cottage and two extra beds (6 persons). The cottages are well equipped with kitchen/room, 2 bedrooms, shower, toilet and electrical sauna. You may rent our cottages year round.

Granny's house
On the second floor in Granny's house there is a double room, two rooms with three beds, living room, common shower and toilet. In the winter, November-May, you may even rent the whole house. In the big kitchen there is enough space for 12 persons around the kitchen table.

Activities

• The Åland golf club with its 36-hole establishment is just a few minutes'
  drive from the guesthouse.

• Take a short walk to see the mighty castle of Kastelholm and Jan Karlsgården.

• Enjoy a hot sauna in the main building's basement.

• Feel free to use the patio with both garden furniture and a barbecue.
