Rules for comfort and safety
We'd like to acknowledge the following:
All
bathing in Mariebad is at your own risk and parents are responsible for
their minor children. Always respect the directions from the staff -
the rules are for everybody's comfort and safety.
Bathing guests that are disturbing or are breaking the safety rules may be turned away by the staff.
Age limits:
Access to Mariebad without accompanying adult (20+) - 8 years
Water slide 8 years (children under 8 may ride accompanied by and adult)
Morning swimming 16 years
Smoking
or drinking alcohol is prohibited in Mariebad. Only food and drink
served by the café is allowed. Glass bottles are prohibited in the
whole area.
The adventure pool is always staffed with lifeguards
that make sure that safety regulations are followed. They are at your
service. The exercise pool is not continually staffed.
Never run
or push anybody in Mariebad - it's not allowed in the showers or in the
pool areas - it may be slippery on the floor and you risk falling!
Only bathing suits made for swimming are allowed, shorts and other clothes are not allowed due to hygienic reasons.
Things to remember:
The changing rooms and the showers:
Take
off your shoes at indicated places, place them on the shelf or lock
them in your locker. Shower and wash yourself naked before entering the
sauna or jumping in the pool. Throw trash in the wastebaskets wherever
you are in the establishment! Please recycle where available. Padlocks
on doors in the changing rooms will be removed after closing. All
property is to remain locked away. Mariebad is not responsible for lost
property.
Sauna and steam sauna:
Wear a towel wrapped around you in the steam sauna, instead of swimwear.
The steam sauna is used by both men and women. Warning: Hot steam!
Remove your swimwear before you enter the sauna!
The Adventure pool:
Always
ride one at a time in the water slide, and with your feet first. Wait
for the green light before you ride! Children under 8 must ride
accompanied by an adult. Staying in the water slide's landing pool is
prohibited. Be warned that you will land in the pool with a big splash,
go under water and may loose orientation. Jumping or diving from the
poolside is prohibited in the whole adventure pool and in the therapy
pool.
The exercise pool:
Diving is only allowed from the starting blocks.
Respect the signs for booked lanes and open lanes.
