Norrö is well-known in international fishing circles for its extensive fishing grounds (the fishing package includes fishing licence areas N10 and 39) – one of the best for inshore fishing for pike and perch. It can lay claim to one of the few good spots for zander as well. You can also get whitefish, bream, burbot, Baltic herring, etc – fish for different tastes and types of fishing, from boat or shore. We have both fly-fishermen and old-style anglers among our customers. Most of the boats are modern aluminium Buster XS boats with 15 HP Yamaha outboards. They are kept in a protected harbour 50-100 m from the cottage door. The establishment is open for fishing all year round. Fishing for pike is best in June and October.

In winter we have excellent ice and Norrö has become a popular spot for ice fishing for pike. It is not far to go to the bays but you can also hire a quad bike if you want to travel fast on the ice. Guests from big cities are fascinated by the enchanting winter landscape, deserted expanses of ice, dazzling white snow and the size of the perch. Not to mention the silence.

There are several different large fishing tour boats (Scout 280 cc, 8.60 m long, 2 x 150 HP Yamaha; Chris Craft 213, 250 HP Yamaha; Rönnqvist 590, 60 HP Yamaha) owing to the fact that one of our most popular products is fishing with a guide. The most popular guide of all is Peter, one of the owners and driving forces behind the camp. He is a fishing and hunting fanatic and counts among his achievements being the pike record-holder in Åland (14.6 kg).
