Our speciality: local seasonal food
At Silverskär we´re proud to use the high quality produce that Åland offers. Our supply varies with the seasons, but we always prepare the meals with the same ambition - to give you as our guest a culinary delight that will last in your memory.
As far as possible we our chefs use the ingredients that the nature has to offer: fish from the sea, and game , mushrooms and berries from the forest. In our own greenhouse, we grow vegetables and herbs that are naturally pesticide free. When possible the guests are welcome to join and lay fishnets in the evening and pull them up in the early morning.
Sometimes we serve our speciality: grilled and marinated fillet of seal. Or, how about a taste of cormorant meat?
