Silverskär has a little sister - Sviskär. The neighbour island with a newly built cottage with four beds, the so called “hermit’s cabin”, is an oasis if you´re looking for peace and quiet. Here you  live in harmony with nature, and cherish the simple life. Here the roar of the sea is even louder and the starry sky is even brighter.

Life on Sviskär is simple and authentic. Sviskär is an electricity-free area and the bathing water is fetched from the sea. There is a hub for mobile phones on the pier, so you can escape from the outside world for a whole day or more. On Sviskär you can stroll on the rocky beaches and enjoy the view. You may perhaps find berries or mushrooms for lunch. You decide by yourself what kind of contact you like to have with the outside world - either you´re completely on your own or you can order daily food baskets from Silverskär.

The sounds of nature are your only companion and the lights of civilization do not blur the starry night at Sviskär. Sviskär offers a new and unusual experience in the Åland archipelago – a rest from the world around!
