Åland’s Maritime Museum and museum ship Pommern

Whether you're a salty sea-dog or confirmed landlubber a visit makes for a great day out.

In the Museum's all-new galleries there's plenty to see, with family-friendly interactive stations there's also plenty to do.  Moored beside the Museum is the Pommern, one of the world's last merchant sailing ships, just waiting to be explored from deck to hold.

A ticket to Åland Maritime Museum always includes a second visit for free.  The same goes for a ticket to the museum ship Pommern.  It's up to you to choose whether you go both museums once or whether you go to either the Maritime Museum twice or the Pommern twice.

The Maritime Museum is open all year round; the Pommern is open from May to September. 

Our auditorium is available for hire and, together with our neighbour Restaurant Nautical, we can offer ready made meeting or conference packages for small or large groups.
