Experience the early 1700’s in a well-preserved environment!
The homestead museum in Skarpnåtö originates from the early 1700’s and is one of the oldest and best maintained farmsteads in Åland.
The main building is now a museum where old and well-preserved objects from the farm are on display. In the yard there’s a handicraft shop that sells ceramic utility articles marked with the farm’s owner’s mark.
Parts of the well-known film, “Stormskärs Maja”, were filmed in this environment.
