Tjudö Vineyard

As of 2011, Tjudö Vingård (Tjudö vineyard) has new owners. Our whole operation has moved and this season we will offer everyone who is interested in Tjudö Vingård's drink products the opportunity to come to a food and wine tasting at our restaurant at Jan Karlsgårdens Wärdshus. The drinks tasting is also going to include Åland snacks - we work on food and drink in combination. 

Jan Karlsgårdens Wärdshus is located right next to Kastelholm Castle in Sund, a sight that is on the "must-see list" for both groups and individual travellers. We are going to decorate the restaurant at Jan Karlsgårdens Wärdshus with information about the alcohol distillery.

We will be focusing on really taking care of our guests and giving you as good an experience as possible this year. Together we can look forward to new premises and new challenges next year! 

Noble beverages produced from apples that have ripened in Åland
Åland has its own wine that is produced from apples that have ripened in Åland. At Tjudö Vingård we have three distillers of our own, where we distil our alcoholic drinks on a small scale using an artisanal process.

Our other drinks include Åland apple liqueur, cherry liqueur, pear liqueur, herb liqueur and rum. 

Information:
The presentation and drinks tasting lasts approximately one hour. Our guided tours are given in Swedish, Finnish and English.

Prices 2011:
Price for presentation and drinks tasting 15 €
Price for presentation including drinks tasting and lunch 25 €
Price for presentation including drinks tasting and 3-course dinner menu 45-50 €

Opening times 2011:
Presentation and drinks tasting at Jan Karlsgårdens Wärdshus 16 June - 6 August Monday to Saturday at 11 a.m.
