Peter Lindberg has worked with wood for 20 years. He has been running Träbiten since 2006, and specialises in handmade wooden jewellery.
The entire process of turning a piece of wood into the finished product is done by Peter himself. By hand. Top quality. With the lowest possible impact on the environment.
Mostly Peter uses Ålander wood, such as alder, birch, maple and fruit trees. He combines several types of wood to create contrasting shades and colour combinations. Products include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, tie pins and cufflinks. The jewellery is only treated with paraffin oil.
What we would really like is for all who visit Åland to take away with them a memento of Åland's nature.
Peter also makes specially commissioned jewellery, taking into account the customer´s personal wishes. "What I like best of all is to create something from a piece of wood provided by the customer."
